Native Gold Nuggets and Gold Ore

There are times where native gold crystalizes and forms absolutely gorgeous formations created by nature. Some are of near pure gold and others can be a combination of quartz crystal and some gold.

These special nuggets are usually worth 20-80% more than their intrinsic gold value. Their values all depend on their aesthetic beauty and this is often subject to the eye of the beholder.

The majority of these are found in California, Alaska, Colorado and Australia. Our personal favorites are ones found in mines in California.

You can locate some really nice gold nuggets on Etsy, Ebay and at Heritage Auctions.

Buyer beware of fakes. Make sure the seller has close to 100% positive feedback and preferably over 100 sales or more.
